Yogurt Parfaits 


  • Whether people need a quick breakfast or just a delicious snack, yogurt parfaits are fast, simple, and healthy. This is perfect for anyone who is in college, a busy mother, or just someone with a busy work life. As a college student, I love to make yogurt parfaits for a snack or even a desert after supper. They are not only great for busy people, but they make a great snack for children. They are a wonderful way for children to get their fruits, grains, and dairy. Parents can also make it fun by letting their children help them make a parfait of their choice. Below, I have gathered many different ideas on how to make a yogurt parfait. 

Strawberry Banana Yogurt

Ingredients: Sliced Strawberries, Sliced Bananas, Granola Mix and Yogurt. I personally like to add Strawberry Banana Yoplait. I think it adds more to the flavor. 

Step One: For the first layer, you will add a layer of yogurt.
Step Two: Add some sliced strawberries and bananas.
Step Three: Add some granola mix.
Step Four: Repeat these steps until satisfied. 
Step Five: Enjoy!

Oreo Parfait

Ingredients: Sliced Strawberries, Oreo's (helps if you crush them up).

Step One: First layer will be yogurt of your choice. 
Step Two: Add some sliced strawberries.
Step Three: Add some crushed Oreo's.
Step Four: Repeat these steps until satisfied. 
Step Five: Enjoy!
  • This one is my favorite. I love the chocolate crunch. 


Strawberry and Blueberry Parfait


Ingredients: Sliced Strawberries, Blueberries, Granola Mix, and Yogurt.

Step One: Place a layer of yogurt in a cup or bowl.
Step Two: Add some sliced strawberries and blueberries.
Step Three: Add some granola mix.
Step Four: Repeat these steps until satisfied.


Rainbow Parfait 

Ingredients: Sliced Strawberries, Sliced Oranges (Cuties), Cut up Mango,  Sliced Kiwis, Blueberries, Yogurt, Granola Mix.

Step One: Put a layer yogurt in a cup or bowl.
Step Two: Add a little bit of granola mix and sliced strawberries.
Step Three: Add some more yogurt.
Step Four: Add sliced oranges or cuties. 
Step Five: Add some more yogurt.
Step Six: Add mangoes.
Step Seven: Add some more yogurt.
Step Eight: Add kiwis.
Step Nine: Add some more yogurt.
Step Ten: Then you will add the blueberries.
Step Eleven: Add some yogurt and then granola mix.

  • This one is great for being creative and changing up the flavor with every bite

Rainbow Yogurt Parfait 

Fruity Pebbles Parfait

Ingredients: Yogurt and Fruity Pebbles Cereal

Step One: Add a layer of yogurt.
Step Two: Add some fruity pebbles cereal.
Step Three: Repeat steps until satisfied. 
  • This is the easiest one to make and children love it!


Banana Chocolate Chip Parfait

Ingredients: Sliced Bananas, Chocolate Chips, Granola Mix, and Yogurt.

Step One: Add a layer of yogurt.
Step Two: Add some granola mix.
Step Three: Add some chocolate chip's.
Step Four: Add some sliced bananas. 
Step Five: Repeat steps until satisfied (or with this one, you can have it just be a layer of each, like shown in the picture).
